Fire From Starlight
Joe K. Faught
Enter into a world of drama and beauty... Contained within is the interplay of shadows, darkness, and on the other extreme, heavenly light and exhilaration, guided by what sounds musical and lyrical to a large degree. The first known poem Joe Faught ever wrote was in April 1963 when he was 13 years old. The title was, The Starlite Hour. It was serendipitous that his brother had found it in some family items. For many years, Joe did not attempt to create more poems. Finally, periodically, he began to write again. Fire From Starlight is a collection of poems from Mr. Faught spanning over 50 years. A devestating house fire destroyed many decades of his poems. Therefore, most herein are from an especially prolific period of the past five years. This collection houses poems recovered from that fire as well as new poems where the author pours out his heart and soul. Fire From Starlight truly is a poetry collection of drama and beauty.
